Here is the next big WOW moment: Zeiss will soon announce the new Otus 100mm f/1.4 lens
Photokina is getting closer and Zeiss is surely going to make a big splash on the Internet with that one: They will announce a new Otus 100mm f/1.4 lens with 86mm filter size and possibly a $5,000+ price tag!
As usual with Otus lenses it will be available in Canon and Nikon mount only. So you can use them on Sony cameras via adapter.
But don’t worry folks, we just got the Sigma 105mm f/1.4 native E-mount lens which I bet gives you 98% of the Otus performance for a third of the price. And it’s going to ship in a few days already:
