(SR2) Is Sigma going to announce 7 new native E-mount lenses tomorrow?
I just got the following info from a new source. This means you have to take it with a grain of salt:
Sigma is going to announce tommorow (Feb 27) not one, but 7 (!) native Sony FE Lens. Primes covering 14-135 mm ART Series. In the future, all new Art lens will be available for E-mount.
If those are indeed NOT special newly designed lenses for the FE system it’s certainly easy for Sigma to make this happen. Still, Sigma hinted multiple times they were considering making special newly designed lenses for FF E-mount lenses. Let’s hope this will be the case tomorrow!
